Climate Change And Sustainability

As part of our Sustainability and Climate Action pillar and ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability and community development, When Females Lead partnered with The IKOE Foundation and organized a tree planting activity in Mwalukanga. Together, we’ve taken significant steps towards a greener, healthier future for our beloved community.

Here’s a quick overview of what we accomplished:

Maternity Ward: We’ve planted a total of 16 avocado trees around the Maternity Ward, symbolizing new beginnings and nurturing care for both mothers and newborns.

School: At the school grounds, 12 avocado trees have been planted, fostering a green learning environment where our children can thrive and grow.
