He offers 10+ years’ experience and is currently working for G4S Secure Solutions (Z) Ltd. He offers diverse skills in sales environments including Agriculture, Furniture, Telecommunications, and Security.

Mizinga Melu

Mizinga Shansonga Melu is an 8th multi award winner and CEO of Absa Bank Zambia. She is also the founder of When Females Lead, an empowerment network for the female African child. During her tenure with Standard Chartered Bank (SCB), Mizinga was the first African female CEO in the thirteen African countries where SCB maintained subsidiaries. She is married to Chipepo and has 2 children, Ruthmary and Matthew.

She is an Economist, Banker and Impact Investment professional. She is currently working as Country Manager for an international financial institution focused on supporting SME’s in Africa and the Middle East. She is married and a mother.

Elizabeth is a wife and mother, passionate about community service, particularly within the young and vulnerable community. In addition to her role under When Females Lead, she volunteers as a certified lay-Counsellor mostly working with young girls. She currently works as Senior Manager – Operations and Credit with a Microfinance institution, with over 8 years experience in both banking and non banking financial services.
Elizabeth is a Certified Credit Professional and holds a Masters Degree in Corporate Finance from Lund University, Sweden.
